How do you connect with God?

How do you connect with God?

Is it through your music?

Or do you connect when you pray,

Is that what you do to hear what God has to say.

To get your life into position,

You must first allow submission.

You must be willing to let go.

Otherwise, you have no chance to grow.

Lord, you give us all of our worth,

In addition, you give us everything that we deserve.

Lord, you keep nothing in reserve.

Lord, it is our soul that you will preserve.

Everything that that we try to do,

Has to do with worshiping You.

We pray to the cross.

It symbolizes how not to get lost.

The cross is the gateway,

To our Lord God Almighty.

Kneel at the cross and pray.

So much wisdom, so much to say.

When we see the Cross,

We can only imagine,

The pain you were delt.

The anguish You must have felt.

Thank You Lord, for the Sacrifice.

Because of this, we get to live twice.

Thank You for Your Son.

We no longer have to run.

Faith and Happiness chpt 8

Lord, Your righteousness is like the roaring sea.

Take me away where You want me to be.

Your faith is like the eagle that flies

As he spreads his wings and soars through the sky.

Lord, your heart shines like the evening star

Your greatness is like the mountains from afar.

Your love flows like a river through the land.

Lord, your greatness is mighty. .  So grand

Lord, You gave the mountains their peaks,

And the valley’s there lows.

It is You Lord we seek.

It is You Lord that helps us grow.

I have faith and happiness today.

It is from staying in the word every day.

I always look to You and pray.

I witness and spread the word everyday.

I spread the word I have found.

What a beautiful sound

Sometimes we sing.

Give Glory to the King.

We rejoice at Your ability.

Your love gives us stability.

I know I will finally be able to stand by him,

Knowing he has forgiven my sin.

Lord, we cry Holy for Your name.

We know You will always stay the same.

You allow freedom to ring.

Your name is above all things.

For so long

For so long You were a stranger to me.

We passed each other so many times.

You touched my heart.

Yet, we were so far apart.

I did not know that,

You were so easy to find.

Satan had me in this trap.

I felt I had totaled my mind.

I though I was beyond repair.

My life was in total despair.

I knew how to find You.

Yet, I chose not too.

You came into my life like a ball of fire.

Learning about You, I could never tire.

There is so much to know.

So many people to show.

You took my wife.

You replaced her with the abundant life.

I always knew You had something in store for me.

It is You Jesus . . . . .  My Lord . . . . .  I believe.

You have touched my heart,

In a way, that no one else wanted too.

You changed me and made me brand new.

Lord, You are my counterpart.

One day Lord, I will see You in paradise.

That is only because of Your sacrifice.

Your word is so intense,

It gives me so much confidence.

I will do nothing but excel!

As I climb Your stairwell.

As I receive your Saving Grace,

I realize it is no longer a race.

Grace chpt 8

Grace

I have a walk because of Grace.

My old life is gone without a trace.

I will not look back.

Grace keeps my life on track.

It is so nice to feel free.

God You have allowed this to be.

As I reach

You talk to me and teach.

There is nothing more important,

Than God’s saving Grace.

I close my eyes,

Arrive in his place.

There is so much peace there.

That is when I am so close to You.

I feel You touch my heart.

Your love God, is so true.

God, I know you love me so much.

I feel Your love with every touch.

When I feel no love from anybody.

You have a way of making me feel like somebody.

Lord, Grace me with Your presence.

Your word is sometimes so intense.

I know Lord there can be no rejection.

With You Lord, there is such a connection

Lord, it is You that keeps me strong,

Live just like You.

And never do anything wrong.

Lord Jesus, everything about You is true.

Jesus, remember me,

I want to walk with You.

What an honor that you would accept what you see.

It is You Lord Jesus; it is You that I believe.

I look for You in paradise.

I do not have to think twice.

Lord, You are my Savior.

It is You Lord that I implore.

Holy for your Name chpt 8

Lord, it is Your love that saves me.

The strength of Your word, that is what I see.

Your Son is the only one that can save us.

He is the King, He is Jesus.

Lord, I send my love to You.

My love is so true.

However it can never compare to the love You show me.

Nothing compares to when You gave your Son to die for me.

The angels from heaven took Him away.

This allows me to get on my knees to pray.

The angel’s wing is spread for our Fathers Son.

Lord, may your will be done.

I know heaven calls my name,

One day I will be there.

Nothing will be the same.

Everything will be pure, nothing to blame.

Nothing will stand in my way,

As I look to you and pray.

Everyday in Christ I will grow.

I know everyday; Heaven is where I will go.

My Prayer chpt 8

My Prayer

Lord, I empower Your word.

O’God come to me.

I ask You please, show us the way.

That is what I ask when I pray.

Lord, as we get on our knees,

We give Glory to Your Name.

Lord, I beg You to reach out and touch our hearts.

Lord, we are so desperate for You.

So many hurting souls in the world

And in our Nation.

So many long to embrace Your love,

And Your passion for forgiveness.

Please God; unify all the people of the earth.

That is the cry of Your Church.

Lord, we are Your children.

Bring us together.

Lord quiet the thunder within us.

So that we may hear the wisdom of Your words.

We come to You,

And give you all of the Glory.

Lord, please reach out to the lost.

They do not know where they are going.

They desperately need Your embrace.

So much do they need Your love.

If they only knew,

That they could spend eternity with You.

All they have to do is know Your Son.

When they do, they have won.

Thank You Lord, for Your Son.

For Your love and patience,

Your sympathy and kindness.

But most of all for Your forgiveness.

Lord, We exalt your name above all other things!

In Jesus, name We Pray.

Out of Position chpt 8

Some are so lost.

Some have been found.

Some people’s lives go round and round.

There lives are totally out of position.

Is your life out of position?

Is it time for you to make a transition.

Do you know what your position can be?

Jesus Christ wants you . . . . . . believe.

What do people say?

When they hear your name.

Do they know that you pray?

Do they know that Jesus is your way.

Lord, what do people think,

When they hear Your name.

People without Jesus, are not the same.

People with Jesus, receive all the fame.

Do you rub off on people in a good way?

Or are you still searching for your heart.

You need to come to Jesus to get your start.

Then your heart and soul will never be apart.

He will bring you peace in your life.

He will calm the storm inside.

He will renew your passion for him.

He will remove the sin.

Lord when we look to the sky.

We open our eyes and give you a glance.

Your presences put us in a trance.

We never want to say good-bye.

Pain Again

Lord, I am struggling today.

It is my pride.

It is in my way.

It almost made me put my prayer aside.

Lord, I still got on my knees.

I asked, would you help me please?

I am in pain again,

And I do not know where to begin.

Sometimes I feel so alone,

And I know it is from the fear of the unknown.

Lord, I know you are there for me.

I feel trapped, please set me free.

This life you have giving me.

Is the beginning of a new frontier.

It is my old life that will slowly disappear.

Lord, please give me the strength to perserver.

Sometimes I try so hard.

I do not know what I try to guard.

It must be my heart.

The loneliness is tearing me apart.

God, You are my friend.

I am glad it will never end.

God you are the sunshine

This is only by your design.

God it is You,

That takes away my tears,

And removes all of my fears.

Your love is unfailing,  Your love is so true
