Dear God

Dear God, the most awesome thing You could have done,
Was to send to us Jesus Christ your Son.
You allowed Him to die on the cross for me,
Today this is all I believe.

Lord I need help with my decision-making.
All your advice is there for the taking.
It is so easy to talk the talk.
But for me to get to Heaven I must walk the walk.

For so long I felt like nothing,
But to you I was always something.
I always knew I was a Diamond in the rough,
But getting where I am today was extremely tough.

My heart was chiseled with a different kind of beat.
It was hard like a rock . . . . . . . . and incomplete.
I knew that I would eventually find you.
And when I did I became true.

Steer me in the direction you want me to go.
God You have everything I want to know.
Often there are times when I feel so blessed.
This is when I feel the least stressed.

Lord I have seen the magic You have worked in my life.
I have no regrets losing my wife.
(to the world - ex wife)
What I have gained knowing You is far more better,
Your wisdom and will is what brought us together


God doesn’t close one door without opening another
It is easy to see there is no other
Lord I have You now for tomorrow and today.
It is my belief You are the only way.
